This page explains what personal data onehemisphere.se handles, why, and what your rights are. In short: no cookies, no tracking, no advertising. Questions are always welcome at jens@onehemisphere.se.

who is responsible

Onehemisphere AB (org. nr 556713-3813), Halland, Sweden, is responsible for this website and the personal data it handles. Contact: Jens, jens@onehemisphere.se.

visiting the site

We use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, our web host processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type, and keeps it in its logs for a short time under its own policies.

ask hemisphere, our ai guide

If you ask our AI guide a question, the question and its answer are stored for up to 90 days to improve the guide, and then deleted automatically. We don't store your IP address with them, and we remove email addresses and phone numbers before saving. Before deletion, each question is copied, with any personal details removed, into a library we keep to improve our website and the guide.

The answers are written by Claude, an AI model from the US company Anthropic. Anthropic processes your question outside the EU under the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses, does not use it to train its models, and deletes it within 30 days by default. Please don't share personal or sensitive information with the guide.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your question and improving our website.

when you email us

We use what you send us to reply and, if we work together, to run the project and keep our accounts. Emails are kept as long as needed for that; accounting records are kept for seven years, as Swedish law requires. Our email is hosted by Simply.com in Denmark.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or our contract with you.

who processes data for us

Vercel hosts the website (a US company; the site's server code runs in Stockholm). Supabase runs our database (a US company; the database is in Stockholm). Anthropic provides the AI model behind Ask Hemisphere (US). Simply.com provides our domains and email (Denmark).

Where data goes to a US company, the transfer is covered by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the company is certified, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or get a copy to take elsewhere. Email jens@onehemisphere.se and we will answer within a month.

Questions to the guide are stored without your identity, so we can only find a particular one if you tell us what you wrote and roughly when.

complaints

If you think we handle your data wrongly, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY): imy.se.
